Xmas 2016

On Sunday 11th December we had our annual Christmas party luncheon. A change of venue this time around down at Casuarina Sands BBQ area. The weather was lovely and location very fitting for a BBQ lunch.

It was great to see the club back out in mass in their Torana's for the last club run of the year. From memory we had 11 Torana's turn up and at least 50 members and family. Great effort guys and gals.

King Loz and Queen Tane had obviously gotten to the location early to set up the Marquees and tables. What would we do without them J As per usual the feast was fit for kings and there was plenty of yummy stuff laid on. And of course plenty of fresh prawns....

There was the annual raffle of prizes which was rigged as I didn't win the Biante model car I was entitled to. Not happy Jan! Oh well, next time maybe.

There were also the various annual awards for club folks who contributed to the club in one way or another...I won't go into who won what as I have a memory like a sieve. Anyway, well done to all as it has been a rather busy year due to the Torana Nationals.

To round it up I would again like to say a big thank you to all the club members who make up this great club and to the committee who keep the ship facing the right way.

Congratulations also the Torana National committee for arranging a great event. Time for you all to relax and get on with life now.
