We met at the usual meeting place, KFC Fyshwick, Trev in his L34, Mark in his LX Hatchback, Allan in his LX, Dean in his LX, Laurie in the Commodore, Brett in his A9X and Peter in his A9X.
We cruised on over to the lawns of old Parliament House where we joined the crowd of Holden’s that was gathering for the show. After negotiating a place under some trees and out of the sun, it was time to have a look around at some of the machinery that had assembled. One car of special interest was a yellow LJ Torana, which is sponsored by 104.7 and is taking part in the Camp Quality fundraising run, esCarpade.

The sun continued to shine and the BBQ was fired up for some much needed lunch with a big thanks to Pete at Mastercut Meats for supplying the meat.

After another look around the FE-HR car club who organised the day started handing out the trophies to some owners of some very nice vehicles. Our new member Mark managed to pick up a trophy with his orange Hatchback which you can see online as our Club Car of the Month.

4 o’clock rolled around and it was time to start on home.
A big thank you to all members who entered their cars on the day and the members who just came along to support our club, yet again the all Holden Day was a success.
